It was a pleasure to embroider napkins for this gorgeous lunch - organised to celebrate the launch of a new collection by Katharine Pooley with Fromental Design.
We took the beautiful butterfly form from the hand painted silk wallpapers and translated it into embroidery designs. We played with different font styles, and worked alongside the stylist Caroline Brown to create a design which perfectly suited the delicate and pretty table display. The butterfly was embroidered along with the guests initials in a pretty script font.
Katharine Pooley’s collection has a particularly meaningful partnership with a wonderful charity ‘Butterfly Conservation’ @savebutterflies who are tirelessly working under their Patron @davidattenborough to save butterflies, moths and their habitats throughout the UK.
